AP - It's party time at Oral Roberts, the religion-based school in Tulsa that gave Bill Self his first job as a head coach. The lightly regarded Golden Eagles came into Lawrence as double-digit underdogs to a mighty Kansas team ranked No. 3 in the country, victorious in 165 of its last 175 home games. What they went home with Wednesday night was a surprising 78-71 victory over the Jayhawks, Self's current team. |
