AP - The final seconds on the shot clock were ticking away and Kobe Bryant had just lost control of the ball at the top of the key. When he chased it down, he was about 30 feet from the basket and every bit as confident in his ability to make the shot. With 34.9 seconds left, Bryant swished a jumper while falling away with a hand in his face, leading the Los Angeles Lakers past the Dallas Mavericks 109-106 Monday night. |
